Anyone ever watch the Showtime special Bullshtein with Penn & Teller? It's a series of shows that debunks stuff like Recycling, Global Warming, Alien Abductions, Communicating with the Dead etc. I just finished watching season 1 and just ordered season 2 from Amazon. I highly recommend checking these out, they're fantastic.

I think I might break my years long drought from going to movie theaters and go see Cinderella Man. Every review I've read was good to great.

I usually just wait for movies to come out on DVD but this one looks good as hell.

Honeymooners is intriguing. I like Cedric The Entertainer but I don't know if he can pull off Ralph Cramden. That was quite possibly the best TV show of all time. Right up there with The 3 Stooges.

I watched The Wedding Singer tonight for about the zillionth time. Still funny as hell.

I think you will really like it. It is really intense and I found myself rooting for Braddock like  root for my hometown teams. Paul Giamatti is excellent. One of the most underrated actors in a long time. I had the same thing as you though. I went through a long stretch without going to see movies, but now I'm seeing them more often than ever. Now I make an entire night out of it. Before a movie I'll go out to eat with some friends then afterwards we'll go see the movie, and after the movie we'll go out and get dessert or something somewhere.

If you hate going to movies try making a night out of it. As obvious as it sounds not many people do it. I don't go every week because I wouldn't blow money like that every week but once a month maybe.
THIS SEASON IS OVER AND ANDY'S WORLD IS GRIDL

Yep, ours too.  But Showtime might get the boot if they truly don't bring back DLM.

Got Nip/Tuck season 1 as a gift last weekend. What an awesome show. I figured it would be all sex and surgery and I was 100% correct. But it's well written/acted sex and surgery so I can pass it off as something slightly more high-brow.

And yes, I know it isn't a movie. Anything that comes in DVD form is a movie to me so cram it.
Is rjs gonna have to choke a bitch?

Watched a movie called Primer which won the Grand Jury Prize at Sundance...-  all dialog driven low budget movie about time paradox.  Kinda like the Matrix with no action, no famous actors, no special effects, no hot chicks...  amazing that I enjoyed it.

I watched it last night.  It was deep.  Kept me interested, but I didnt think it was Oscar material.
