nice job amaro

this is your fault, too
Zero hour, Michael. It's the end of the line. I'm the firstborn. I'm sick of playing second fiddle. I'm always third in line for everything. I'm tired of finishing fourth. Being the fifth wheel. There are six things I'm mad about, and I'm taking over.

you cant expect an organization that 15 seconds ago considered itself a small market team to understand success.

the phillies, for like the first time ever, had a great 5 year run. they didnt comprehend that it was over, until the middle of the 2014 season. its more of an organizational thing than a roob thing....i doubt he would've been given the ability to trade lee in 2012.

i should have prefaced with a "under the current ownership/administration." i know the 80s existed. everyone here is like 50. believe me i know.

77 - 83 was pretty damn awesome.  That group should have won at least three WS.   Excluding 93, it did feel like forever until this team had a glimmer of hope.  We can all reunite at Sunnyside Estates Assisted Living in Sun City Center in 25 more.

Larry Greene, the Phils 1st-rd pick 3 years ago out of high school, retired already because he sucks so farging bad

Looking forward to 2020.  The next 5 years are going to make the mid/late 90's look like the good old days.

MDS

-lee's arm fell off again
-utley's knees aren't working again
-hamels is still not traded
-their 2 spring homers have come courtesy of andres blanco and xavier paul
-maikel franco, top prospect, is hitting something like .143
-ryan howard still exists

but they will "definitely" be better than people are saying. right?

This "special" bunch is going to rival 1972.  Only problem is they had Steve Carlton go 27-10 that year.  C'mon Jerome!

Watch a lot of Dodgers spring games on Fox Sports West.  Holy shtein do they have some young awesome talent.  This kid Corey Seager who is 6'4 and plays SS is going to be special.  OF Joc Pedrson is a stud.

TRADE HEIDI NOW!  They get one of this prospects I'd be ecstatic.  Apparently His Royal Smugness wanted their top 3 prospects.
