NYPD cops receive memo reminding them they can be filmed while on duty

Quote"Members of the public are legally allowed to record police interactions," the memo states. "Intentional interference such as blocking or obstructing cameras or ordering the person to cease constitutes censorship and also violates the First Amendment."

Cops can take action if videographers and shutterbugs "interfere with police operations," the memo notes.

Well, I'm sure that won't lead to a rash of crazed people with cameras attacking cops so hard the footage gets erased.

One of my favorite bands is playing at the Eagles Kickoff party at Xfinity Live tomorrow night fo free. I'm gonna leave class early to get up there in time to see them play.

The lead singer smokes a pack a day and basically sucks live now, but oh well.
