carver dropping randy off at the group home is as devastating as it gets....the little touch of him twisting the rearview mirror cause he cant stand himself is brilliant

Yeah that little part was good, I thought the best part of the story was when he was yelling at Carver in the hospital, but it just kind of dragged.  I guess I have no idea if any of the kids will have a role in s5 except for Michael

top 5 seasons in tv history

1. wire s4
2. wire s2
3. wire s1
4. wire s3
5. wire s5

Much like the top 5 characters,  my fave seasons list changes because each time I've watched it I notice some new subtle nuance that changes my opinion. S5 always stays last, but you can find a reason to shuffle the other 4 in pretty much any order.

4 and 2 are always at the top for me but in almost every poll ive ever seen 2 always comes in fourth place......its so underrated

S2 will only be rated 4th by people who have only watched it once, especially if it was watched continuously. I didn't care much for it after my first watch, but I think that's due to the fact that I watched it straight through and found myself focusing on the absurdity that this entire investigation started over a church window, so I was less focused on the characters and developing story. Halfway through, I just wanted to get that season over with and move on.

It wasn't until I watched it for a 2nd time that I really paid attention and appreciated just how good it really was.

it took time to get into it. s2 changing gears from s1 was pretty much the first time that happened, viewing experience wise for the audience. were not used that type of storytelling...so the expectations of picking up with stringer and avon werent met, and its like who the farg is ziggy and these white people.

once you cleared that hurdle it was tremendous. on 2nd viewing it moved past s3 for me.
Zero hour, Michael. It's the end of the line. I'm the firstborn. I'm sick of playing second fiddle. I'm always third in line for everything. I'm tired of finishing fourth. Being the fifth wheel. There are six things I'm mad about, and I'm taking over.

i have to binge watch this again. got off next week. perfect time.

That's where you ask politely what year it is.

Done. Yeah, best show I've ever seen.

Didn't really like season 5 much. It just got more and more ridiculous as it went along. It was still good but nowhere near the same level as the other seasons. Didn't like how they dealt with some of the characters at the end (pretty sure any of you can guess who, but you could see it coming), but they did a good job wrapping it up and showing that the same shtein is going to happen with all new people. Would've liked to see more stuff like season 2.

1a. s4
1b. s2
2a. s3
2b. s1
5. s5

Congrats on enjoying the GOAT show.

Now sock them away for a re-watch in six months and you'll pick up even more things that you miss the first time around.

Sgt PSN

6 mo?  Take a week of and then watch it again, only not in marathon mode. 2nd time through is better than the 1st because you do pick up on quite a few things that you wouldn't notice during the 1st watch.
