pretty much. once you finish you will never see another tv show or movie without recognizing one of the characters and wishing they were still the people from the wire.

I started my 4th re-watch last week.  season 1 down, on to season 2.  i will still never get over that *spoiiler*a farging church window causes a massive investigation that leads to multiple deaths.  Valcheck is a funhole

SPOILERS

- I liked that they showed the Greek is Prop Joe's supplier at the end of S2
- showing Clay Davis at the condo groundbreaking near the docks at the end of S2 - any doubt that next season is on corrupt politicians? Probably start S3 this weekend
- Omar just preaches. When he said that Levy is just like himself leeching off the game that's ruining the city I lost it

this is so true....broadus always stays my 1....but the rest is impossible....farging stringer who would easily be the #1 character on any other show didnt even make my top 5...the depth of great characters on the wire is insane....all due to the writing which is inexplicably great
