Thanks.  It was fine down here for a few years but I'm ready to return to civilization.  I was worried I wouldn't be able to get back into the area from Bama but it worked out.  Prepping for the bar while having no job or clue where you're going is a trainwreck.

The case of the missing Malaysian airliner gets even weirder....US sources had been floating the hijacking theory because of the suggestion that the communications systems had been turned off manually. They suggested that piracy was an issue.

Now a Malaysian official has come out and said it is no longer a theory and it is a certainty that this plane was hijacked.

"A Malaysian government official involved in the probe told the Associated Press on Saturday that investigators are now certain that one or more people with significant flying experience hijacked the missing Malaysia Airlines jet, switched off communication devices and steered it off-course. The official said that hijacking was "conclusive" and no longer just a theory.

Amazing. So usually hijackings are done with purpose whether attempted financial gain, political shtein or suicide/killing.

So it has been a week and nothing has turned up. No wreckage, no demands...nothing.

Where did this plane go? Is it legit to believe this was hijacked and squirreled away somewhere? Landing a 777 isn't something that is done on a remote landing strip made of dirt and rocks and bamboo thatch.

U.S. intelligence officials are leaning toward the theory that "those in the cockpit" -- the pilots of Malaysia Airlines Flight 370 -- were deliberately responsible for the mysterious disappearance of the commercial jetliner, a U.S. official with direct knowledge of the latest thinking told CNN on Saturday.

The revelation followed news that Malaysian authorities searched the home of the lead pilot, a move that came the same day that Prime Minister Najib Razak told reporters the plane veered off course due to apparent deliberate action taken by somebody on board.
