Get away with it? Get away with what? Boning in public? Who cares. Looks to me like they already totally got away with it. This doesn't exactly look like rape to me so why does anyone care and who the farg is enforcing it so diligently? I'll venture a guess to say that there are some rather more important unsolved cases that the police department could be putting resources towards. Punishing young people for farging in public seems like maybe it should be deprioritized.

The case of the missing Malaysian airliner gets even weirder....US sources had been floating the hijacking theory because of the suggestion that the communications systems had been turned off manually. They suggested that piracy was an issue.

Now a Malaysian official has come out and said it is no longer a theory and it is a certainty that this plane was hijacked.

Quote"A Malaysian government official involved in the probe told the Associated Press on Saturday that investigators are now certain that one or more people with significant flying experience hijacked the missing Malaysia Airlines jet, switched off communication devices and steered it off-course. The official said that hijacking was "conclusive" and no longer just a theory.

Amazing. So usually hijackings are done with purpose whether attempted financial gain, political shtein or suicide/killing.

So it has been a week and nothing has turned up. No wreckage, no demands...nothing.

Where did this plane go? Is it legit to believe this was hijacked and squirreled away somewhere? Landing a 777 isn't something that is done on a remote landing strip made of dirt and rocks and bamboo thatch.

that theory is nice until you see what the pilot had setup in his apartment

I'm the Anti-Christ. You got me in a vendetta kind of mood.

yeah that came out last week...not sure what it has to do with a possible catastrophic mechanical event on the plane tho

its not like one of the 911 hijackers taking flight lessons a year before they crashed the planes...this pilot had like 30000 flight hours over 25 years ...he certainly already knew all there is to know about planes and flying them with or without a home flight simulator....at the same time it doesnt mean he wasnt on a suicide mission

it has nothing to do with it, which is my point.

no what im saying is that the main pilot having a flight simulator in his home does not eliminate the possibility that there was a fire on the plane nor does it increase the possibility that the main pilot intentionally commandeered and/or crashed the plane

I read that Google+ thing last night and it seems like the strongest opinion out there right now.

The crazy thing about this is that almost any speculation, short of the aliens and shtein like that, can be explained in a believable way.

attempted breach of the cockpit door and hijackers fought off?
cockpit door was breached and control taken over by hijacker(s)?
Mechanical issue?
Crazy pilot?
Shot down by China and they will never own up to it?

With each day it grows more interesting. The US seems to thing it took the southerly track and if it did then it could be in one of those deep 24k FT trenches. If it is down that far (Air France was 13k ft deep) the pings from the black box won't be heard and they may not be able to salvage the wreckage.

i think a hi jacking is highly unlikely...for one i think it would have come out by now by going thru the passenger manifest that there were passengers onboard with links to a terrorist group or at least some terrorism leaning background and two i dont think it would be possible to hi jack an airplane these days without some sort of transmission of it going over the airwaves or a cell phone call from a passenger to the ground...also if you hi jack a plane you dont want it to disappear...you want the world to know your cause and end game

id say its one of two scenarios:

most like 1. catastophic mechanical failure that perhaps ended up in a payne stewart situation or less likely 2. pilot suicide...but that wouldnt explain why it remained in the air for so long after going dark or why it went dark to begin with

Somebody get James Cameron down there.

Agreed on the hijacking thing in the sense that those fools want their crimes known. That leads me to believe that if the hijack was attempted and thwarted by the pilots and/or passengers that could lead to the crash before their end game of destruction.

If it is pilot suicide maybe he wanted to just chill and fly a bit before ending it all. His hobby was flying so he's like "alright I am gonna kill myself but before I do lets take it for a ride until the fuel runs out" and then he sits in the seat with a gangsta lean, goes and grabs some liquor from the cart and chills.

The plane went up to 45k ft which is above the rated height for that plane. At that altitude people only have about 15sec of consciousness before hypoxia sets in. So he could have knocked everyone out doing that and he has the plane to himself pretty much.

The news is saying that westerly turn was physically programmed so mechanical issues seem unlikely based on that.

QuoteWASHINGTON — The first turn to the west that diverted the missing Malaysia Airlines plane from its planned flight path from Kuala Lumpur to Beijing was carried out through a computer system that was most likely programmed by someone in the plane's cockpit who was knowledgeable about airplane systems, according to senior American officials.

Instead of manually operating the plane's controls, whoever altered Flight 370's path typed seven or eight keystrokes into a computer on a knee-high pedestal between the captain and the first officer, according to officials. The Flight Management System, as the computer is known, directs the plane from point to point specified in the flight plan submitted before a flight. It is not clear whether the plane's path was reprogrammed before or after it took off.

perhaps you could explain sd's reasons for "disliking" it as well since you seem to be so in tune with other peoples minds

my theory is all of these passengers and pilots met on some kind of weird suicide message board or something and then eventually decided there were enough of them that instead of killing themselves they could just disappear.
