Wow. Just wow.  CF Sponsor opportunity of lifetime!

"Braman has an interesting background. He left the West Texas A&M football team in college due to pleading guilty to manufacturing psilocybin, which is a hallucinogen found in mushrooms. He and his family don't have teeth:  "My whole family's kind of toothless. My dad, he doesn't have no tooth." His grandfather is reportedly humongous (7-4, 460 lbs!?!). Oh, and he used to be an Abercrombie & Fitch model.

So an extra in Deliverance?

QuoteSource: Eagles will not pursue Darrelle Revis

You can cross the Eagles off Darrelle Revis' list of potential landing spots.

The Eagles are not among the teams pursuing Revis, the all-pro cornerback released Wednesday by the Buccaneers after just one season, according to a league source familiar with the situation.

Revis, a three-time first-team all-pro and five-time Pro Bowl pick, spent his first six NFL seasons with the Jets and is generally considered the No. 1 pure cover corner in the league.

Revis missed most of the 2012 season with a torn ACL, and the Jets traded him to the Buccaneers after the season in exchange for a first-round pick and what became a fourth-round pick.

He restructured his contract a couple days after the Bucs aquired him, but only $1.5 million of the six-year, $96 million deal was guaranteed. Revis earned $16 million for his one year in Tampa, and by releasing him, the Bucs save $80 million in future salary.

The Eagles ranked last in the NFL last year in pass defense, allowing 290 passing yards per game, although they also allowed more pass attempts per game as well, thanks to their hurry-up offense.

Their projected starting corners in 2014 are 2013 free agent pickups Bradley Fletcher and Cary Williams, with Brandon Boykin – second in the NFL with six interceptions last year – in the slot.

The Eagles signed safety Malcolm Jenkins to a three-year deal on Tuesday.

So Jenkins is it I guess? I'm glad they took care of their in house guys but they were on the offensive side of the ball and their lone defensive upgrade is a safety. Would really like to see them add a pass rusher, I know they don't grow off trees but they're out there. Adding another safety so they don't have to take one early in the draft wouldn't be a bad idea either.

I'd be fine with Pryor or Dixon at 22 if they fell but I hate taking a safety in the first round.

I would like an edge rusher too...that is the biggest need on this team right now.

Wouldn't it be nice if Vick decided to stay as the backup?  I'd be happy with that.

This is an overpay offseason, Vick isn't staying put.

It would be great. How long before Foles is out for a game and Vick comes in and runs for 130 in the read option, and Eagles fanz have a controversy? I'll say game 9.

Diomedes

Nah, no one want Vick back.  Foles is the guy for a minute, we'll see.  If he tanks, Vick still isn't anyone's answer.

But yeah, as a backup to a successful, healthy Foles?  Vick would be perfect.

I'd rather see what Barkley has than bring Vick back.

Barkley isn't ready and may never be. If Foles gets hurt and you have Barkley and a rookie then season over. They need to have a veteran.
