My dark horse safety the Eagles could sign is Chris Clemons. Good size...can hit...plays thd deep ball well. Doesn't seem to be getting the attention other safeties are in fa...he's a steady under the radar option.

Revis makes zero sense for the Eagles. Sure he's an upgrade but he's unnecessary since there are so many other areas of need. I'd rather they signed Byrd than Revis if they're trying to lay that kind of coin down on a db.

I'm a little gun shy on the big FA signing myself, but SunMo is exactly right. Williams alternated between passable and farging awful last season while Fletcher is just always meh (or hurt). Of course you take a chance on Revis.

How much dough is Revis going to collect vs Byrd?

We all know the secondary is in need of a makeover but where do you spend the money and/or can you get better value by signing one or the other and drafting the other to get both?

Just make the team good enough to finally get lucky and win a goddamn Super Bowl.  I don't care how they do it, how much money they spend, or who gets the credit.
