That said, maybe Chippa is a miracle worker with guys like that.  I'd rather blow big money on Byrd in any case.

100% in on Mitchell. I'm surprised Carolina hasn't locked him up yet. He was the glue that held that D together. Plus he'll be much cheaper than the top guys.

I wouldn't mind Johnson but not at the numbers he's probably going to get. Sounds like the Birds had some interest until a bunch of other teams threw their hats in the ring and up the price.

Bailey as a safety maybe...better than Chung but then again that's not saying much.
