typical defensive hipster...doesnt know something and its stupid
Zero hour, Michael. It's the end of the line. I'm the firstborn. I'm sick of playing second fiddle. I'm always third in line for everything. I'm tired of finishing fourth. Being the fifth wheel. There are six things I'm mad about, and I'm taking over.

More actors should literally chew on scenery. I want to see The Silence of the Lambs redone with an all sheep cast.

The man. The myth. The legend.

It bleats me why anyone enjoyed watching Hopkins chew up the scenery in that movie.

her - fascinating and extremely well done romance flick if you take it as exactly that. wakeem phoenix is out of this world...i want to jerk it scarlett johnassons voice, etc. but i hate movies where the director tries to make a point about the human condition, as is done here. just tell me a farging story and make it good. regardless, a really good and original movie. 3.5/5

Is the Draft Day movie with Kevin Costner based off a true story? Pretty sure I hear someone say he has Kotite on the line in the trailer.

Man of Tai Chi - Watched on Netflix. Not terrible, but also not terribly good. The starring credit goes to Keanu Reeves, but he's basically a supporting actor for his old Matrox stunt man, Tiger Chen. Pretty prototypical martial arts flick in terms of acting quality, and the fight action was pretty decent. As somebody who knows more than a little about tai chi, some of the action was pretty authentic, but much of it was preposterous. But hey...it's a movie. Reeves kind of sucked, but after the fact, I'm wondering if he was intentionally acting stiff and lifeless.
