phattymatty

it wasn't awful but i agree it's not a movie i would ever watch again.

MDS

thats how i feel about wolff. more awful every day that goes past

the BP race is between slave and hustle. slave was miles better but the real winner should be nebraska.
Zero hour, Michael. It's the end of the line. I'm the firstborn. I'm sick of playing second fiddle. I'm always third in line for everything. I'm tired of finishing fourth. Being the fifth wheel. There are six things I'm mad about, and I'm taking over.

Rome

Russell is incapable of making an awful movie.

AH wasn't all-time great like SLP but it wasn't Grown Ups 2 either.

Get a hold of yourself.  Jesus.

i don't get the love for american hustle it was pretty generic and kind of boring.

Also 12 years a slave was good. Felt like it was rushed because it could have easily been 20 hour long... but yeah, still good.

Wolf of wall street was alright, then just got long and boring. If anyone but Leo played the main role nobody would have gave a shtein, and it wouldn't have been nominated for any awards.

Achievement in visual effects

"Gravity"
"The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug"
"Iron Man 3"
"The Lone Ranger"
"Star Trek: Into Darkness"

That's a funny way to spell Pacific Rim.

The man. The myth. The legend.

First Red Dawn and now this?  I think it should be a law that any movie with Patrick Swayze can never be remade because it's impossible to duplicate the perfect balance of awesome and awful in practically every single one of his movies.

They farg with "The Outsiders" Bob's gonna be pissed.

Point Break?  Really?  My son said "Chasing Mavericks" with Butler was the worst movie he's ever seen.  Made "Blue Crush" look like Oscar material.  Maybe he'll have another near death experience trying to surf Bell's Beach.
"Well where does Jack Lord live, or Don Ho?  That's got to be a nice neighborhood"  Jack Singer(Nicholas Cage) in Honeymoon in Vegas.

Rome

Jack Ryan was the definition of meh.

Branagh was hilariously awful, btw.  The skinny English chick needs to spend some of that mountain of cash she made on the pirate movies and get her grill fixed.

Kirk was Kirk.  Costner was Costner.

ghostbusters is 30 years old. what.

Some of the younger freshmen in high school I substitute teach for were born in 1999. The 8th graders I sub for were born in 2000.

perhaps you could explain sd's reasons for "disliking" it as well since you seem to be so in tune with other peoples minds

General_Failure

You have daily conversations with people who are unaware of a time where you could go to the airport without taking off your shoes and bending over for TSA Agent Jellyfinger.

The man. The myth. The legend.

Yep. And have no idea what school was like without a smart phone.
