yesterdays game told me that nick foles will not be chip kellys qb of the future....a qb who can run even a little bit would have had over 100 yards rushing...foles is a complete sloth who just doesnt fit

and speaking of chip kelly he had a hideous day yesterday

Is this the same one that said the Eagles would be terrible this season?

Sometimes I wonder if perhaps Philadelphia doesn't win championships because of the approach the city has for it's teams. We say we love our teams, but it seems our love is controlling, selfish, and constantly frayed by second guessing/our contant assumption that we are right about everything. I wonder if this "love" for our teams carries over into our lives and somehow pollutes our whole existence.

The above circle jerk regarding the Cardinal fans being sore losers is wholesome lolz. I assume had it gone the other way we would all just take it in stride and say nothing of it.

the fans threw 3ints and coached horribly in the superbowl. the fans couldn't hit against the yankees, the fans couldnt hit a jumper against the lakers. the fans couldnt play better in goal against the blackhawks.

This world is full of people that face their problems head on without bias. 

It's funny how people can be constantly wrong, yet it does nothing to affect their assumption that they are right.  Keep on running up that post count IGGY.

If Chip decides to stick with Foles for next year, that's fine with me.  I like him.

What I like more than anything is the fact that his ratio of good decisions to bad seem to be around 6 to 1 or more. I'm not in love with his arm strength, or his footspeed...but neither do Manning or Brady. I hate to bring them up....but only do it because their decision making is top notch and they lack speed.

Agreed, if they had a guy with more speed, would this offense be more dynamic? Absolutely...but there's a correlation between athletic QB's and decision making. They are very few, and really far in between. No kid coming out of college can convince me they are the next sure bet. None of them. Foles has been able to do this for about 6 weeks now at a consistent level. Yes, he needs a year or two to really let us know what he can do. He's still developing...but if he can make up for his lack of speed with his precision passing and decision making, I'll take that every day forever. I don't need to be ooooooh'ed and aaaaah'ed...I just need scoring and wins. You don't have to look fancy doing. Just do it.

How'd that work out?

Foles has more than enough speed to get an occasional first down.  He has adequate arm strength as well.   What he possesses more than anything are the intangibles that make great quarterbacks.  He's smart and appears to have a total grasp of the offense.    I'm good with Foles, thanks.   Let some other sucker look for the next Wilson or Kappy.

PS: Why is it that whenever we get someone good to cheer for we always look for something better?   Also - after what he's accomplished how many other teams would take Foles in a second?

Foles played good enough this week. Not great. He had some awful passes, did nothing for the last twenty minutes of the game, and got helped out by penalties and an amazing catch by the redneck. He's got plenty of things he could improve on, but he's winning games and that's a hell of an improvement over Vick.

Foles has done more than enough to earn the starting gig for next year.

Now, whether he can repeat this performance next year (or close) is questionable.  But he's earned the chance to try.
