So, you're sticking with the argument that Cruise in Rock of Ages, who was the only thing that critics liked about the movie, was worse cast than when he cast himself as a polar opposite character that people knew and loved enough to bring it to the big screen? Haha. You're the only one that I've ever heard that vocalized hate for Cruise in Rock of Ages. There was an uproar about Cruise in Jack Reacher. It's not my fault you're not familiar with books. yeah the altered kahn scenerio is what lost some points for me.

i did like how spock, while conflicted with his vulcan vs human beliefs, went with his human side and acted with emotion and even went as far as to cheat in a way by contacting the 1st spock to find out how to defeat kahn.

seems they left the door open for another clash with kahn down the road by not killing him and his crew.
