First half of the movie I was wondering why the reviews weren't better.   First 80 mins or so are actually pretty good I think.  The last hour though comes waaaaaaay off the rails.  Also the chick who works in the store with Megan Fox in that movie gives one of the strangest/worst performances I've ever seen.

Man of Steel. It started with 40 minutes of a boring pantomime of the first 40 minutes of Batman Begins, but without a remotely interesting subplot, then finished off with two farging hours of explosions that would leave Michael Bay wearing a wrist brace from all the furious masturbating. Good thing they picked a super hero that isn't totally uninteresting because he can do any bullshtein they need him to.

The man. The myth. The legend.

Man of Steel might have been the worst movie I ever saw in the theater

It was great. If you didn't love it it means you didn't get it. It's natural.
I'm the Anti-Christ. You got me in a vendetta kind of mood.

I'm sorry, but I just refuse to like a movie about a kid with two dads. How am I supposed to explain that to my kids?

Pacific Rim. I don't normally like del Toro movies, but that's because the stories are awful. This one was okay. The goofy looking guy from the biker show wasn't completely awful, he didn't bang the one woman in the whole friggin' movie, and Charlie Day didn't overstay his welcome as the wacky scientist. On the other hand, I'm getting a little sick of cgi cities being torn to shtein, Idris Elba was good in a dumb role that was only a plot device. So was Ron Perlman, but unless he's narrating another Fallout game I really don't care.

But I saw a dude in a rubber monster suit get suplexed, so that was neat.

caddyshack overrated?

yes or no

For the type of movie it tries to be no it's not overrated. If you're talking about it's place in cinema history yes it gets too much hype.

It's aged better than any comedy in the history of comedies. I've seen it a bunch and it still makes me laugh. It's the most quotable movie in the history of movies.

I think it's great but I can see why people would think it hasn't aged very well.  But chances are if you don't find it funny today, you wouldn't have/didn't find it funny 30+ yrs ago.

dangerfield and ted knight are funny. knight is too cartoonish but it still works

parts of chevy works...the bill murray stuff was awful. the murray/chevy scene is boring

that was a 2008 opinion
Zero hour, Michael. It's the end of the line. I'm the firstborn. I'm sick of playing second fiddle. I'm always third in line for everything. I'm tired of finishing fourth. Being the fifth wheel. There are six things I'm mad about, and I'm taking over.
