Ben Affleck is the new Batman. Holy shtein the Superman/Batman movie might go down in history as the worst movie ever. Man of Steel was a horrendus pile of shtein.

I finally watched it a few years ago and my first reaction was this movie blows

JFK was unreal when it came out... It hasn't aged well but you're into that type of movie so I understand the sentiment

i like the movie itself but what puts jfk over the top are the acting performances....theres never been a better ensemble cast in any film...theres so many people and they all blast it out of the park....even john candy was incredible in a dramatic role

platoon is boring as hell....what really kills it tho is charlie sheen...you just cant take him seriously in that movie

Platoon has aged terribly, but when it first came out I thought it was pretty good. Definitely overrated, but that doesn't mean that it sucked, it's just one of those movies that people want to put on a pedestal for some reason. It's the Scarface of 'Nam flicks.
