shore is like a lot of old people...he just isnt voting for a colored

hawk is not even a human being, i.e. a terrific example of a modern day republican. id look for his take.

i like shore.  always have.  that's what makes his curious affection for rmoney all the more disturbing and confusing.  there's simply no defending the utterly degrading and humiliating comments mittens made in that video.  he's obviously pandering to group of fellow zillionaires, but his comments show a total lack of compassion and a seeming inability to grasp reality.  it's really shocking just how awful it was.  unbelievably awful and every american regardless of their station in life should be mortified by them.

everyone loves shore...he is your innocent out of touch uncle who means well.

theres just no way he is gonna support one of them. plain and simple. if random white dude no. 43435 was running instead of barry shore might go for him. but the dude just doesnt want a brother or a woman (i.e. hillary) running his country.
Zero hour, Michael. It's the end of the line. I'm the firstborn. I'm sick of playing second fiddle. I'm always third in line for everything. I'm tired of finishing fourth. Being the fifth wheel. There are six things I'm mad about, and I'm taking over.

I've been saying forever that people like Romney actually think that poor people are poor because they choose it, because they are lazy and stupid, because they deserve it, and that rich people are rich because they are smarter and they work harder and they deserve their wealth.

It's not just a bumper sticker, modern day conservatives really believe that a person's class is an accurate reflection of their value.

the guy who may pay no taxes on millions of dollars and hides his money offshore thinks half of america are freeloaders

you cant make this shtein up

It really does boggle the mind that 46% of the country will still vote for him regardless of what he says or does.
Is rjs gonna have to choke a bitch?

Let them eat bootstraps.

I don't think so.

I wonder how shorebird is going to respond to this.

Seriously, shore... defend that piece of shtein if you can.

Thats pretty ridiculous if he did indeed say that. But, if he did, it's no different than Obama saying if you have a successful business, you didn't build it.

Thats so far from the truth it's just crazy. I can think of other people I'd much more want to run than Obama or Romney, Colin Powell being at the top of the list. You assume I'm like igy, who is voting for Obama because he's not a white republican.

I'm starting to wonder WTF is wrong with you people. You slam Romeny like he's the anti-christ, and believe anything that comes out of the mouths of the Democrats. It doesn't matter that Obama has flipped flopped and reneged on most everything he promised before getting elected. You act like things like that never happened. With most of you, it's not about the issues or what would actually be better for the country, it's nothing but a race war, party war, and kissing the asses of every democrat who supports Obama.

Baaaa.

And yeah, I'd vote for Hillary Clinton before I'd vote for Obama.

I posted the link to the video.  Are you not going to bother informing yourself?

Obama did not say that.   Are you kidding me with this crap?

Yes he did. "if you have a business, you didn't build that. Somebody else made that happen." .46 .47 .48

So go ahead and tell me now how he was taken outta' context.

General_Failure

You're right. He definitely said businesses did not build roads and bridges.

The man. The myth. The legend.

I'm not going to bother.  You know damn well the point he was making and he was right.

Really, how plain can it be, he says Business once, followed by you didn't build it, someone else made that happen. Twist it anyway you want, you'll hear only what your sheeple ears will allow.

Baa.

shorebird

Oh, but I forgot, you said he didn't say it, I've proven he did so now he was trying to make a point completley different than what it sounded like he was saying. Well, how do you know that if you didn't know he said it in the first place?

Rome

Did you watch the video?   We all know what Obama said.  I want you to comment on Romney's words because that's what the conversation here is about now.  It's not about Clinton or Obama or anything else.  It's about whether you watched the video and agree with the sentiments he expressed.   Just answer the question, dude.  Yes or no...

Here's the full Obama quote (according to factcheck.org):

QuoteObama, July 13: There are a lot of wealthy, successful Americans who agree with me — because they want to give something back. They know they didn't — look, if you've been successful, you didn't get there on your own. You didn't get there on your own. I'm always struck by people who think, well, it must be because I was just so smart. There are a lot of smart people out there. It must be because I worked harder than everybody else. Let me tell you something — there are a whole bunch of hardworking people out there. (Applause.)

If you were successful, somebody along the line gave you some help. There was a great teacher somewhere in your life. Somebody helped to create this unbelievable American system that we have that allowed you to thrive. Somebody invested in roads and bridges. If you've got a business — you didn't build that. Somebody else made that happen. The Internet didn't get invented on its own. Government research created the Internet so that all the companies could make money off the Internet.

The point is, is that when we succeed, we succeed because of our individual initiative, but also because we do things together. There are some things, just like fighting fires, we don't do on our own. I mean, imagine if everybody had their own fire service. That would be a hard way to organize fighting fires.

So we say to ourselves, ever since the founding of this country, you know what, there are some things we do better together. That's how we funded the GI Bill. That's how we created the middle class. That's how we built the Golden Gate Bridge or the Hoover Dam. That's how we invented the Internet. That's how we sent a man to the moon. We rise or fall together as one nation and as one people, and that's the reason I'm running for President — because I still believe in that idea. You're not on your own, we're in this together.
