At first glance that statement seems ludacris.  But to be a pro-bowler in the NFL, you basically just need to be one of the top 5 QB's in your conference to get strong consideration.  So top 5 out of 16 isn't really that impressive.  It's basically a 1 in 3 chance for him to make the pro bowl at some point in his career.  So the odds if him not making a pro bowl roster at least once are rediculously high, especially when you look at how the league is catered to the pass.  How many rookie QB's and WR's have made immediate contributions over the last 4 or 5 years?  It doesn't take 3 or 4 years to "develop" a QB like it used to.  So Luck will start right away and if he's got half decent talent around him, he'll put up big numbers from the get go.

So yeah, as crazy as it seems, I'd say it's going to be harder for Luck to not make the pro-bowl at any point in his career than it would be for him to make the HOF.

i agree...but i think it has more to do with how good of a prospect luck is than how easy it is to make the pro bowl
