bottom line: the guy is 150 lbs hes not goin to grab 100 balls a season...but he poses a threat very few guys in the nfl can....should he get 80 million bucks no....but if you think that can be replaced by all means go ahead..and to say jeremy macklin is as good or more valuable is insanity

Thing is, you can't really compare the 2 because they are completely different receivers.  I also think they compliment each other very well because of their skill sets.

They're both excellent receivers obviously.   Comparing the two is almost as stupid as "hoping" Pimp leaves.  Almost.

Maclin is the better receiver because he can do more then just be the deep threat. And he's really, really good at doing those other things.

DeSean is possibly the best deep threat in the game and NOT easily replaceable.

Statwise, they're both top ten receiver right now despite the offense sucking. Neither is as good without the other.
