I have no f'ng idea.

I give them at least 8 wins, but after that I don't know.

And neither does anyone else.

They're better than they were last year in DL, RB, & CB and no worse off anywhere else.  Plus Vick has undisputed control of the team as the #1 QB.

They went 10-6 last year and should be no worse than that this year, hence the 11-5 guess.

It all comes down to Vick and whether the OL will protect him enough and whether Reid will take a saner approach to offensive balance.  If those two things happen and the defense does what we think it can, this will be a special team.  Plus it's not like the NFC East is filled with juggernauts this year.

I stand corrected.

6-10

Vick goes down in week 2. Young comes in and gets hammered every other play because Andy and Morningwood refuse to run the ball more. Jackson doesn't hold out, but clearly half-asses it all season long. TEs and RBs have career receiving days against the awesome linebackers. Asante finishes the season with 15 picks.

The man. The myth. The legend.

Holy shtein, Dio.  Quit being such a little bitch and make a prediction.

It's not like we will take a flame thrower to your testicles if you're wrong.

There are question marks going into every year, but I've never seen one in which there is such a drastic range of realistic possibilities. I could easily see Vick go down in week 2 then going through a string of QBs like in '91 or whenever that was. And I could see the Oline gelling in time for the usual strong Nov/Dec finish and go deep into the playoffs. So I'll predict all things balance out in the end and they go 0-0-16, and will have to wait until 2012 when VY, coming in relief for Vick, leads them to the long awaited  SB victory.

11-5 and a SB appearance.

I don't think they win the Super Bowl because of the OL, LB and Castillo potentially being overmatched.

farg it... I'll go ahead and say it. Eagles win the farging Super Bowl.

The o-line and all the new pieces will hit it's stride midseason and they keep it rolling.

12-4, 1st in NFC

I dont buy the GB hype

SunMo

it's not really hype when they just won the Super Bowl is it?  They are a good to great team.

I originally was 12-4, but I think they will struggle more than expected and lose a game they probably shouldn't in their first 6.  So I'll say 11-5, but I think if things fall into place like we hope they do, and the line jells throughout the season they can make a deep run in the playoffs.  I think they can make it to the Super Bowl just as easily as they can lose in their divisional game.
I'm the Anti-Christ. You got me in a vendetta kind of mood.

Man, this depends on soooo many variables. I'll go with 10-6, assuming the o-line is mediocre, but improves over the course of the season.

DH

to me its hype because if desean doesnt return that punt, GB doesnt even make the playoffs. when they lost to detroit that day, everyone stopped talking about them. rodgers gets hot at the right time, and all of the sudden, theyre ready to start a dynasty? i get all the guys coming back off of IR, but aside from finley and grant, who cares -  its not like they lost jennings or woodson and theyre getting them back..theyll win the division and make the playoffs, but im more worried about NO than I am GB.

The Eagles have talent at the most important positions in today's NFL.

they completely blow at arguably the most important position which is offensive line....the defensive front seven is better but weak if you are talking superbowl....that said the improvement at cb cannot be understated and that alone has to improve the defense....31 td passes against was just a travesty...to put that in perspective houston whose pass D was a running joke all year gave up 33

something that really scares me on that side of he ball and seems to kind have been pushed aside since the preseason started is that juany is still the DC...we dont know exactly how that will turn out but its has scary potentially to go really bad...keep an eye and ear to the defense off the field...listen to how players talk about juany and how their body language towards him on the sidelines is...also we may never hear about this but id love to see the amount of attention being given to him in team meetings...you can have all the talent ugrades you want but if everyone is not on the same page the coordinator is not respected then you start t have breakdowns on the field and fraction off it...this will be a huge key this season

really tho if they are gonna win a ton of games and challenge for a title vick needs to prove to me that he can adjust to the defenses that brought the house towards the end of the season last year and not consistently turn the ball over like he did in the last seven games....the line doesnt help but in the end i think vick is the reason they wont win a superbowl....with the sick weapons they have a truly elite passing qb could overcome this offensive line and win a sb.....for example if dree brees was the qb of this team id put them on a level with gb...its really scary to think what he could do with this offense...but vick as exciting as he is and as good as he was last year imo just isnt that guy

but with vick as it stands now i kind of agree with the people who have been saying more of the same....they will be exciting and have some fancy wins and they will also lose some inexcusable games joe webb holla....in the end they will win 9-10 games and probably lose their first playoff game depending on who they pull...last year for example they got a terrible draw in gb....hopefully this year its better and they can win a game or two in the postseason....actually hopefully they can win the superbowl but the holes they have wont allow that unless vick over the off season has turned into a pocket passing quick release blitz recognizing defensive reading qb
i can take a phrase thats rarely heard...flip it....now its a daily word

igy gettin it done like warrick

im the board pharmacist....always one step above yous

charlie

9-7, maybe 7-9... the o line is terrible, and vick still hasn't shown that he can make better decisions.

have a feeling it will be a frustrating season.
