Rome

11-5 regular season.

Win NFCCG over Green Bay.

Lose to Patriots in Super Bowl.

That's it.  That's the deal.   Whatcha got, bitches?

10-6 regular season

Lose first playoff game to someone infurating

We all argue with each other while IGY brags about how he "called it"

I contemplate drinking antifreeze but decide those fargers aren't worth it and instead just go on a 3-month Miller Lite bender.

Reid is still our coach. I'm not buying into the hype. I think Vick could have a bad season, with this oline, new contract and the added pressure of winning a championship. Too bad his coach couldn't build him a championship caliber oline. We win the division of course but the ship always stops in the playoffs. See you next year...

If they win a super bowl this year I will gladly let all of you rip me for that prediction. Please I would very much enjoy that  :yay

Yes, the classic IGY "I'm rooting for them but until they win a Super Bowl I'm telling you they suck, and suck hard."

At least he is entertaining. You are officially headed to the block list, mussa. See ya.

Its a realistic view when your head coach has proven time and time again he can't win big games and is predictable as a morning piss. Keep your hopes up there buddy, I'll stay grounded and miserable until that moron is dead and gone.

I find it interesting that people have talked about how overhyped the Eagles are, but if you look at ESPN and their 12 or 16 experts, and all of sports illustrated and cbs, I haven't seen a single person predict the Eagles to win the SB, and I only recall one out of 20 or 25 to even say they'll make it.  I think the hype machine is actually going in the opposite direction right now and that they have a good chance of making the SB in the NFC.

But I don't have the balls to predict that, so I'll stick with the groundhog day script of they make the NFC Championship game after winning 11 games and lose in excruciating fashion to someone they probably should beat.  New Orleans maybe.

SD

I think they'll finish the regular season 11-5, primarily because they have talent at positions that can mask other deficiencies and the NFC and their schedule is weak. Last year it seemed they peaked a little too early then took it down a notch. My main concern the first half of the season is how fast the team can gel, I think it'll appear that they gel faster than they do because they have such an easy early schedule. Ultimately I think there's too many question marks at key spots to make a serious run at a SB. That being said I think they make it to the 2nd round of the playoffs.

10-6, same old shtein.  Some off the chart victories and some real zesty losses (see Minnesota last year).  AR still running the team. I do see one playoff win in the wildcard game but not past the next round.

I have no f'ng idea.

I give them at least 8 wins, but after that I don't know.

Is there any sport where preseason predictions are more pointless? The Eagles have talent at the most important positions in today's NFL.  My biggest concern other than oline of course, is that they don't have a true difference maker in their front seven.

Trent Cole is a great player but he always seems to wear down by the end of the season and their dline seems to built that way again.
