munson is right; its a long nap, thats all - ive been under a few times, and i know it sounds very cliche, but each time i woke up when it was done, i asked them when they were going to start

The first time I had knee surgery, they put me under but I woke up for a minute while they were still operating.  I couldn't feel anything but I opened my eyes, saw the doc and his crew and then looked up and saw the inside of my knee on a tv monitor.  Then I went back to sleep and woke up in my room.

Only had morphine once and immediately understood junkies. Absolutely did not care about my broken hand or the still-bleeding surgical scars or the nausea. Didn't care. Everything was great. farging hell my body loves drugs.
Is rjs gonna have to choke a bitch?

Tomorrow is the day for my ankle surgery. This will be my first surgery and my first time going completely under anesthesia...I wonder how it'll feel. I hope it doesn't make me puke.

I had wrist surgery in 04. It was supposed to be like a 30 minute surgery and it ended up being like a 2 hour 30 minute surgery. They had to give me a lot of the anesthesia and I woke up puking for a few hours afterward. They gave me Percoset for the pain, also made me sick. I did, however, enjoy Vicodins...very much so.

Well I'm home in bed and my leg feels like it was run over by a train.

The last thing I remembered before surgery was them putting me on the table. Then I woke up in recovery. I'm still in a daze but it's wearing off and the pain sucks.

They gave me norco? Which i guess is like vicodin? I wished for something stronger.

A little disappointed there were no hot nurses there.

Had my knee scoped 5 weeks ago, the doc gave me 60 perc 10's. I'm sleeping better than I ever had in my whole life.

I must be the strange one.  When I had my back surgery (a microdiscechtomy), I was given morphine lollipops.  Tried one, and absolutely hated the way it made me feel.  Decided that a bit of extra pain was better than that feeling, and used nothing but tylenol and ibuprofen after that.

I haven't been to a wedding in 5 years, what's the appropriate amount of $$$$ to give as a gift. It's for my second cousin, and we're not close.
