For anyone who is interested, in case you haven't watched yet and want to get a feel for the show, Game of Thrones should be sick tonight with all the shtein that goes down (assuming it follows the trajectory of the books like I assume).

before you pimp a show you need to give a heads up that its about hungry hungry hippos, warlocks and magical fairy tale spells. i mean yea sure theres nudity but that show is just insanely nerdy.

Not really. I mean, it's fantasy so you're going to have a segment of people who just won't deal with it or give it a fair shot, but there aren't 'warlocks' or different races of shtein. There's just people who do bad shtein to other people. There's a fantasy element to it but it's always in the background.

The show has been good, the book series is arguably my favorite of all time. It's like igy's love for the Wire.

and I don't mind people assuming there's ridiculous shtein like spells and whatnot in the show, because then they'll be fairly surprised when none of the shtein you say is actually in it.

Must have missed requesting you to see it. The books are great, the show is good. If the topic of them isnt for you, skip it. Just sayin it isnt wizards and spells and whatever else you were saying.
