So I just saw some commercial for a new show coming to ABC called Combat Hospital. I assume it'll be just like MASH only with bad writing, bad acting and terrible humor. I bet it stays on the air for 5 years.

Pretty much. Then again, this one is coming on the heels of Survivor Greys that got cancelled after 1 season, so maybe American tv viewers actually have a tolerance for crappy medical dramas.

I just tried to watch the No Reservations episode in Haiti with Sean Penn and had to turn it off. What inspires celebrities to be such colossal douchebags? Why do they all talk like that? farg is wrong with those people?

The reason they act like that is because no one ever says "no" to them. Penn is second generation Hollywood, which means he's been coddled by parents who were coddled before him. In his case, though, I think it's less a case of him being a spoiled brat and more that some people are just unpleasant dickheads.

Maybe, but I'm more curious about why anyone would constantly communicate with an earnestness that borders on psychosis. Like every goddamned thing he says is so farging important. Maybe that's from being indulged his whole life but it seems more likely that he's just a humorless shteinhead with too much time in his hands and too little intelligence or self awareness to enjoy his lot in life. farg Sean Penn.
