I think it depends on how well they play in their division.  The AL East is probably the toughest in the league right now (at least on paper to start the season).  Bos and NYY are obviously still the cream of the crop, but Tampa is battle tested and the Blue Jays don't look too shabby either.  They'll probably win alot of games outside of their division but whether or not they finish above .500 comes down to how well they stand up to the big boys in the East.

yankees stink...no way the orioles dont finish ahead of them

Their pitching isn't very good once you get passed CC but I don't think you can completely write them off either.  I don't think they'll win the division and maybe not even the WC, but they're still better than most of the teams they face.  If nothing else, they've been beating up on the O's and Jays (The O Jays?)  for so long that maybe they have some sort of psych advantage or something.

I just threw some money on the Orioles to win the division at 18:1. Because you're never wrong, I'm going to consider this bet my childrens' college fund, and I'll get a building named for you at each of the colleges of their choosing.

those are great odds...cant believe they are that high...i might have to follow suit

Kind of funny but at the same time, telling a little kid he needs to find another place to live is pretty zesty.  Yeah, we love sports, love our teams, hate our rivals, blah blah blah.  It's a farging game that we watch because we don't have the talent to play.  Maybe if he wasn't such a d-bag, his kid would want to more like him.  Farg this guy.

umm its not just a game...and its not like this guy is actually giving up his child for adoption...id threaten the little punk with a hell of a lot more than that if he/she wasnt a four for four kid

yea he wasnt serious

who cares who is an abusive, ridiculous parent. tell it to the ditch digger and let him worry about it.
Zero hour, Michael. It's the end of the line. I'm the firstborn. I'm sick of playing second fiddle. I'm always third in line for everything. I'm tired of finishing fourth. Being the fifth wheel. There are six things I'm mad about, and I'm taking over.

I would shun my kid too.

Four for four or hit the door.

My 9 year old daughter pulled this last year with cheering for the cubs. So I went out, bought her a hat and told her have fun with it. Then I made sure she overheard me saying to the mrs. that me and my oldest sone were goingt o the phils/brewer game and that my daughter wouldnt want to go because she likes the cubs. Her little schtick lasted about 3 weeks, my other kids gave her a hard time, but I would make sure to tell her the scores of all the cubs game. She came crawling back and yes she went with us to the game, came away with 6 baseballs and a bunch of signatures. Cute kids in Phils jerseys goes along way
