At least he'll have Social Security to fall back on.

Maybe not...he made millions and may not be entitled.
I believe I've passed the age of consciousness and righteous rage
I found that just surviving was a noble fight.
I once believed in causes too,
I had my pointless point of view,
And life went on no matter who was wrong or right.

I liked the back story of NFL Europe and how he trusted those clowns with his money.

SunMo

when they said he was reading a fictitious representation of the rapture, why didn't they just say it was the bible.

Please...that wasn't the centerpiece of the story at all.  What do you care if he is religious?

I thought he was reading some BioShock novels.

i dont care and it doesnt make me like or dislike akers anymore or less....but it also doesnt make an appealing read for me...especially his loonie bin wife

The word 'loonie bin' doesn't get enough play. My grandmom used to say it to me growing up "you're going to send me to the loonie bin"...with her you could also substitute loonie bin with Byberry

Fair enough.  I don't think a small portion of a story trumps the rest, but to each their own.
