i will take intense well done foreign film over mindless explosions and pointless action any day of the week. id bet you will find more of those types of people in nyc, philly, dc areas than topkea, oklahoma city and des moines. just a hunch.

still there can be good action movies that are jayson werth seeing. but even those make me feel like a MA when i do.

Did you actually say that there are more people in friggen' Philly and D.C. who would want to watch an "intense foreign film", than there is most anywere else in America?

There's also a beautiful Arts Center on the Skyline Drive just outside of town.  Asheville is a great place.
