Goddamn! What an ending. Can't wait for next week now. Loved it when hank dumped his suv to the floor backing the bad guy into the car behind him, then another car behing the first one! Going by the short preview of next week the s.o.b. survived! Hank did too I guess, but he's gotta' be in bad, bad shape.

Hank Schrader is one bad m.f.

yeah another sick episode, watched it this morning.  not as good as last week which i think was the best episode ever but that parking lot scene was cool.

it had to be chicken man that called him to warn him right?

MDS

it had to be the PI guy gus sent to watch walt, the same one who works for saul. he had to be watching hank and gave him the heads up.

brilliant scene all the way around. lets declare this season the best non wire season ever for a show, k?
Zero hour, Michael. It's the end of the line. I'm the firstborn. I'm sick of playing second fiddle. I'm always third in line for everything. I'm tired of finishing fourth. Being the fifth wheel. There are six things I'm mad about, and I'm taking over.

Susquehanna Birder

Yeah, the PI guy somehow works for the chicken man, as well. Hank is one lucky S.O.B.

phattymatty

ah, that makes much more sense.  shouldn't he be watching walt though?

and yes, def. my favorite season of almost anything.

Dean Norris, who plays Hank, is a really good actor, imo. When he was sitting in his suv after getting the phone call I could feel his tension just by the look on his face. I know it was partly the scene itself, but the man makes you feel what he's acting like he's feeling, if that makes any friggen' sense.

Same thing when he beat the crap outta' Pinkman, and after that when he was sitting on the bed with his wife contemplating his career. I'd never heard of him before BB, has anyone seen him in anything else?

The BIGSTUD

Also, the directing was about as perfect as it gets. When you see the two people approaching from the front and you think it is the two brothers, but it turns out to be a random bald guy going to his car.

Then he looks in the rear and one of them is right there.

They built those guys up as being the ultimate badasses and Hank just owned them.
Calling it right on the $ since day one.
Just pointing laughing, and living it up while watching the Miami Heat stink it up.

shorebird

I don't know about owned, after all , they had the right idea with the Kevlar vest's, and probably knew what they were up against after Hank wasted Tuco. And you don't own anybody after you take multiple bullets to the torso.

Last nights Pacific was not that good imo.  It felt like they just tried to force too much into one episode.  Episode 7 though may have been the best war action ever, it disturbed me which is very difficult to do when it comes to that sort of thing.

I just caught last nights episode and I thought the complete opposite. One of the best episodes of the series.

I thought it was good, but the battle scene went on for a bit too long. Anyway, they have an interesting way of dealing with characters.

It pulled at my emotions: For instance, I was sad for Basilone's wife when he died. But then a part of me was also happy because she was such a stuck up cvnt.

Ill watch it again, I was really tired when I watched it.  It just seemed very choppy to me.  I guess they really raised the bar after episode 7.  I still can't get over how good that was.

Lost rules.

I know you all care so much.

Oh and they extended the series finale by 30 mins so it'll be 2 hrs 30 mins now.   :yay

Susquehanna Birder

I'm wondering how they're going to wrap it all up (besides by killing everybody off).
