Steve Carell says he's leaving The Office after next season.  Might be an attempt to get a new contract...
Just end it now before it gets worse

I also was doing some reading on how CBS cancelled The Unit, Fox produced it and wanted it in syndication and more or less forced CBS to drop the show, pretty impressive power move by Fox.

that doesnt make any sense, kiddo

a show being in syndication isnt grounds for cancellation, in fact if its produced by the same company that airs it, it can stay on the air longer than it should.

that wasnt the case for the unit, which just simply got too expensive to produce with an audience that wasnt all that big in the first place. fox would have been game for another season. the production company never cancels a show or forces the network to drop it. thats throwing away money.

Zero hour, Michael. It's the end of the line. I'm the firstborn. I'm sick of playing second fiddle. I'm always third in line for everything. I'm tired of finishing fourth. Being the fifth wheel. There are six things I'm mad about, and I'm taking over.

i forget where i read it, it was some article talking about Southland, and they talked about syndication and how Fox could make more moeny thru the syndication than leaving it on air thru CBS.  Hell if i know

both are streams of revenue

it often gets to the point where syndie is more profitable than weekly new episode airings but both make cake for the production company

yea exactly

when the production company and the network that airs it are owned by the same parent company, corporate synergy works and everyone makes their money.

when they arent, the situation changes. it has nothing to do with fox canceling the show.

I'm guessing tonight's Family Guy was the first show on regular TV to have a character lick a sh*tty diaper clean, eat a baby's vomit, then lick a baby's ass clean before putting the diaper back on....

Breaking Bad another unbelievable episode. That was the most tense scene since The Sopranos finale. But this one actually delivered.
Calling it right on the $ since day one.
Just pointing laughing, and living it up while watching the Miami Heat stink it up.
