If Celek is as good as he was last season I take him over Chad Lewis all day.

What they have surrounded Kolb with offensively in his first season >>>>>>>>>>> times infinity to what they surrounded McNabb with in all of his years here offensively.

Kolb is playing with the exact same guys McNabb played with last year.

We can count on a Jackson knee injury in training camp now.

The man. The myth. The legend.

I'm talking about his entire career over the 10 year span....especially in his first 4 years starting out. Look what he had then, look what Kolb has now.

eagles made the playoffs last year

the year before mcnabb came they were 3-13

it takes time to build up

this is cobbs fourth year....mcnabbs fourth year was 2002

2003 (and of course 2004) is very comparable to this years talent

and like i said the offensive lines and the defense are nowhere near comparable

huge advantage mcnabb there

QuoteAccording to our NFL Source, the Eagles and Chiefs have been discussing a trade over the weekend that would allow the NFC East team to move up to the fifth position so they could select Tennessee Safety Eric Berry. Per our source, Philadelphia believes he's the missing piece to their defensive woes of a year ago.

If this deal went down, the Chiefs could cash in on the Eagles war chest of draft picks. They have multiple picks in rounds two, three, four and seven.

There isn't any question that if the trade was consumated, that the Chiefs and Eagles would swap first round picks with the Chiefs sliding nineteen spots down to #24 and the Eagles getting the coveted fifth pick. In addition, the Chiefs would hope to acquire both of the Eagles second round picks #37 & #55.

However, we've been told that the Eagles are reluctant under any circumstances to give up the 37th pick they acquired from the Washington taterskins for quarterback Donovan McNabb. That still could work to the Chiefs benefit.

Either way, the question that Chiefs General Manager Scott Pioli must ask himself is what compensation is fair if they're going to slide down nineteen spots in Round one and who would they be giving up if they didn't trade their first round pick.

PASS
Pretty sure this is a smoke screen, for what I have no idea.

If they trade up to a top five slot to draft a safety I will be perturbed. In fact, I would actually prefer that they trade up to draft an offensive lineman.
Is rjs gonna have to choke a bitch?

Let them eat bootstraps.

Rome

If the Eagles give up 24, 37 & 55 to go up to #5 they would be epically retarded.  They can get a guy at 24 that would be a slight step below Berry and a guy who's equal to anyone available at 24 at 37.  Plus there's always guys like Pimp who fall to 55 who they could luck into.

In short, don't even consider that sort of stupidity.

If they want 24, 55 & a fourth rounder, then fine.  Otherwise, fargin pass, Doogie Howser.

they shouldnt trade up for either but berry is ten times better than any lineman in this draft

thomas is on par with berry...if youre gonna trade up for one of them thomas will come cheaper and should be the one

Don Ho

How long will Thomas be around on the board?  Is he gone by the 24th pick?

Most likely he's a mid first rounder

If they could package say a 3rd with #24 for him that would work

The BIGSTUD

Who do you think they will get and who do you want?

Including trade scenarios.

Most people have Thomas going between 10-15, and yes, if he's there around 12, it makes a lot more sense for the Eagles to trade up there than it does for them to move into the top 5.
