i heard that NBC is keeping any characters created on the show, so The Masturbating Bear will be NBC property.

though its possible conans lawyers could fight for a few bits and characters and robert smigel can fight for triumph

also conan cant be on the air until sept 1, not sure if that means he cant sign somewhere before that. one logistic possibility is he signs with fox and goes on all fox owned stations (even if its fox or mynetworktv) plus fx.

fox owns the fox station in 14 of the top 15 markets. they all would have to air that show. they could get some other bigger markets to come around and then combine the fx numbers for a solid audience.

well he can talk to fox...they can build him a set and hire him a staff, i suppose. theres your loophole.

also this new show archer on fx is farging hysterical. i highly suggest it to the 3 people under the age of 30 here that arent munson.

I caught a couple episodes of Archer last week and MDS is right, it's pretty goddamned funny. Although I noticed that the ladies in the room with me weren't nearly as entertained. Vaginas.

Also, I finished the first season of The Wire last night. It was good.

Thoughts on the last Conan O'Brien show?  Glad they showed those clips from that segway into his first show where he's running across the country to get to LA from New York.  That was funny.

They have a 4 minute sneak peak up from the season premiere of lost for anyone who's interested.  Not much new but there is finally some new footage out.  Can't wait till Tuesday.
