Anyone seen a good movie lately?

i watched a christmas story for umpteenth time.  it never gets old.  especially the end when the chinese people are trying to sing christmas carols.

awesome. 

That is one of the dumbest movies ever.  I never got all of the hype that this movie got.  This is a movie that people either love or hate, I am clearly part of the latter.

Same here, we wil probably go see it this weekend.

The reviews I have read have been mixed from 0/5 to 5/5 stars....so I dn't know what to think other than go see it for myself and see what's up.

Cool...it looks like only one theater in Houston is showing it. A little neighborhood historical place where we went and saw Sin Nombre last year. Its usually a indie movie place.

Kind of surprising that the bigger places would turn their nose up at a McCarthy novel based film.

One of, not the dumbest movie ever.  And yes Sarge I hate America.  I just think it sucks and pales in comparison to the greatness that is National Lampoons Christmas Vacation.

nat'l lampoons and a christmas story are 1a/1b on my xmas comedy list.  in fact, i have nat'l lampoons in my netflix instant queue so i might have to watch that tonight.

The best Christmas movie is clearly Bad Santa. I watch that every xmas eve. Such a classic.
