If you insist!  Here's a good preview for Sunday... now I know the Eagles won't make as many mistakes as the Lions did, but you only have to give Brees one open man out of about 5 or 6 targets on any given play.  And of course, the Eagles better respect Mike Bell or he will run the ball successfully.

RE: Wildcard:

I'd say you have 3 possibilities and only two slots.  Here are you division champs and wildcard contenders obviously:

Vikings Green Bay
Giants Cowboys
Falcons Saints

Honestly, I'm not ready to give a division crown or wild card to any of those teams yet except the Saints (and that's just because I'm a fan no doubt).  And I'll believe the Falcons have another great year when I see it.  I think last year all the coin flips went their way.

The Saints didn't make the playoffs last year.  So far this year, they have cloberred the Lions.

Waking up at 8 AM to get to the link and help the boss set up. I hate the no bottle policy....opening cans and pouring them into cups sucks. Either way, it'll be my first Eagles home opener, and I'll be getting paid to be there. Can't really beat that.

An odd feeling came over me today...I actually think these guys have a shot to win. Obviously several things must happen for this to be reality...

1. Disrupt Brees and don't let him set his feet. One of the reasons I started to think the Birds have a shot was NO's record outside of Loooosiana last year (2-6) and Brees' stats outside of the dome (14 TDs & 12 INTs).

2. Establish Westbrook and McCoy early. Run left often, let Peters and Cole assert themselves and have Weaver play a lot of snaps.

3. Reid and Marty need to have Kolb in game management mode. No tricky shtein. No complicated shtein.

4. Kolb needs to take what is given to him and get the ball out quick. Please change the batteries in the clock inside his head so he knows when pressure should be there and have it get the ball out.

Swami picked the Birds to win too. Of course the Eagles have a shot - any given Sunday and all that bullshtein. The reality is, though, that the Eagles really can't win this, or any, game with Kolb as the QB.

I hope the Eagles run more than usual, and if Garcia was starting, I'd think they would, but I worry Reid is going to try to prove he made the right move in drafting Kolb.

If the Eagles do somehow win, it will be because of some unbelievably lucky plays by Westbrook or Jackson

The Saints were a last place team last year. Their offense is sick but overall they are a mediocre club. So of course it's not impossible for the Birds to win this game without McNabb. Just makes it a hell of a lot more unlikely.

I moved up to the Lehigh Valley 6 months ago, and have been missing home with a passion. I was able to get a ticket for the game in Philly, and I'm not going to turn it down. I told my staff that I was going down to the game with all my Saints gear on me and the car. They have been trying to talk me out of saying that the fans are horrible down there. One of my servers even said that a group of men spit on her baby for wearing a NY Giants jersey. Does anyone else have any issues or stories to tell about the fans in Philly? I cant wait for tomorrow to come!!!!!

Dude, find some fellow Whodats and hang with them. and DO NOT leave your car decorated in black and gold. They will throw batteries at your car with YOU in it. and be ready to be insulted all day long. They will try to push your buttons.

Hopefully, most of them will be gone halfway thru the 4th quarter when the game is out of reach for them. Just be smart and be safe. Good luck!

I'm not trying to be a tough guy or anything, but I'm damn proud to be a saints fan. I've got my car decked out, and I've got my gameday apparel i always wear every game. If I get hit, yelled at, thrown at, or any of the unmentionable, I won't care. I've been to so many games where all of us have been top notch fans even when we leave the dome in defeat. karma will win this game for us!!! I have never felt this confident going into a game before in my entire life. God Bless every single member of the who dat nation!!
