I might remember it vaguely, but it's not like a kept a special place in my heart for it.  You have to remember that's not the only time Bush has fumbled and the Bears game the following week is burned much more brightly into my memory.  I hope they straggle into the playoffs this year and have to face us in the dome.

At the very worst, the Saints straggle in as a wild card.  To confidently think they won't make the playoffs is pretty crazy imo (or badly informed).  We have a lot of depth this year and fewer injuries (you look up an injury report from this time last year).  Not to mention two coaches known for being great play callers on offense and defense.

If you insist!  Here's a good preview for Sunday... now I know the Eagles won't make as many mistakes as the Lions did, but you only have to give Brees one open man out of about 5 or 6 targets on any given play.  And of course, the Eagles better respect Mike Bell or he will run the ball successfully.

RE: Wildcard:

I'd say you have 3 possibilities and only two slots.  Here are you division champs and wildcard contenders obviously:

Vikings Green Bay
Giants Cowboys
Falcons Saints

Honestly, I'm not ready to give a division crown or wild card to any of those teams yet except the Saints (and that's just because I'm a fan no doubt).  And I'll believe the Falcons have another great year when I see it.  I think last year all the coin flips went their way.

edit:  misunderstood the post the first time i read it.  i see that you said only 2 wc spots and were listing the 3 teams you think will compete for them.  no need to include the west winner since it's an irrelevant division anyway.
