he needs to stop thinking hes the missing link to a SB at 49 years old...and so does Minny

He's only 39

Paul Domowitch "can guarantee you one thing. If Favre does play for the Vikings this season, he'll be told early and often by head coach Brad Childress to ditch his gun-slinging ways. The former Eagles offensive coordinator doesn't suffer interceptions well"

Riiiiiiight - Brett Favre is going to become a brand new QB because Brad Childress doesn't suffer interceptions well

PhillyPhreak54

Childress is a douchebag.

ESPN has live updates from outside Favre's house.  :-D

Sickening. Go away, Brett.

He's probably sitting on a tractor wearing a John Deere hat, a wife beater and guzzling PBR.

General_Failure

Oh man, I hope he doesn't bust out the guitar. I don't want to see ESPN covering a Munson/Favre douche-off.

in more sad news--Brett Favre has decided not to return to football according to ESPN and yahoo

PoopyfaceMcGee

Wait until the first starting QB goes down with an injury this preseason before thinking that is anything near official.

What I would love more than anything is for Favre to resign with someone (the Skins) and about halfway through the 4th game of the season just collapse into a Richie Tennenbaum-like free fall. He'd take a snap and just sit down. He'd randomly quick-kick on second down from the 50. Underhand passes to opposing linemen. Full on tears and should-shaking sobs in the huddle. That would be heaven.
Is rjs gonna have to choke a bitch?

Let them eat bootstraps.

General_Failure

Maybe put the ball on the ground and sexually assault it.

FOX cameras catching him looking both ways and then stuffing a fistful of pills in his mouth.

Sgt PSN

Now ESPN is claiming otherwise:

QuoteIf it is determined by Favre's and the Vikings' medical people that he needs anything less than "major" surgery on his shoulder, Favre will un-retire to play for the Vikings, the source said.

If "major" surgery is necessary, Favre will remain retired, the source said.
