I really like the idea of bringing Holt in.  Is he a stud?  No.  But he has played with Curtis before, and Jackson could learn some stuff by watching him.  Avant can still be Mr. 3rd down, and Baskett can be a situational guy as always.  Basically, they'd be replacing Greg Lewis with Holt.  Why not?

The Rams havn't been competitive for how many years now...not a good way to judge a guy like Holt who before was top 5 receiver in the league when he had a QB and an offense. I'll take Holt in a heart beat.

Right, but Holt's prime years have passed him by regardless.  He would be an addition, not a solution.

What if they get Holt and then TO?  Should they just sign an elephant and some clowns too?
