Just what we need, another small runningback. He's what 5'8", 5'9" and barely 200 lbs.? I don't think he even played at all last year. Only reason I even remember him was looking to see what backups LT had.

Who?

Never heard of him, but he was in the '07 draft and reminded people of Trung Canidate

PhillyPhreak54

Not exactly a good guy to be compared to.

I think they're actually considering it this year if they don't get Pettigrew.  It looks like they're going to have their choice of at least 2 of the top 3 at #21...

Igy you are nuts if you think they select a RB in the first round. Or even in the 2nd round. This team hates to run the ball and even when Buck was producing he would be only allowed to have 1 carry per half. You think all of a sudden they select a RB in the first round? To do what? Be inactive on game day because he can not pick up the blitz?

im pretty sure they will take a rb in the first round...im not saying its a lock or anything but i fully expect it to happen

I'd say first day, doubtful first round. Most mocks only have Wells and Moreno going in the 1st. Moreno and Lesean Mccoy are interesting but I don't feel Wells fits their mold. I think they'll spend their 3rd rounder on a RB. Last year was when they should have addressed RB when the draft was stacked, instead they spent a 3rd the previous year on Hunt and ship a 4th to Miami for Booker. Slaton would have been a good pick in the 3rd round instead of Bryan Smith.

The BIGSTUD

So many needs left still and they only address one in offensive tackle, which they subsequently created the same need by not keeping Tra Thomas. Still hope Tra re-signs.

Team still needs a #1 receiver, tight end, running back, safety, o tackle.
Calling it right on the $ since day one.
Just pointing laughing, and living it up while watching the Miami Heat stink it up.

The man. The myth. The legend.

Apparently the Eagles claimed former Chargers RB Eldra Buckley off waivers.  Awesome.

BUCK!!!  I feel so much better now.

tons of running backs you can get this year in the draft...no need to go out and pay for ward...shady mccoy is gonna be sick in the league...they should make a power move to get him if hes not there at 21...he dominates the look test too

If he' still available when the birds are up and they don't grab him I'll shtein my pants.  This guy is the real deal and he belongs on the birds.

Rome

He definitely belongs on a team with a head coach who routinely gives the run the stink palm.

shady is an automatic first rounder and donald brown should be there as well because of his combine performance...andre brown is flying up boards as well tho probably not a first rounder...also first day now is only two rounds...so if they take one on the first day theres a very good chance they take one in the first round this year

I dont think Ive ever been this excited before during free agency for the eagles.

not only are they cruising with pickups, but you can already tell its going to be a solid season next year

keep it going

nothing will ever be as bad as 2005 and the mike mcmahon offseason but this one is is probably going to come in second place...whats even more dishearting is that the three teams in their division are all making additions left and right while the eagles continue to lose good players
