I just dont see the benefit of having Tre or Runyan out there anymore. Sure they can pass block (and Im well aware the Eagles pass more than any other team), but if this year proved anything its that they cant run block anymore.

I think people get too enamored with the names and are afraid to let go, but face facts--these guys are not too excited about running and hitting guys down the line of scrimmage anymore..and it showed in a horrible way...and on top of that I think J. Jackson is a below average center as well. He gets pushed around worse than a practice squad player and barely ever pushes his guy forward. the eagles are due for an overhaul

my monday positives coming up shortly

The problem is that this Oline had one of the best seasons ever in terms of pass blocking. The Eagles pass the most. Reid will judge everything on that and not whether they need to improve to help the running game out.

ESPN's John Clayton calls the Eagles and the Giants the front-runners to acquire Anquan Boldin via offseason trade.
Philadelphia is reportedly the current favorite. Clayton believes Boldin's trade demand will be met. The compensation is expected to be a first- and third-round pick. Philly has two first-rounders (Nos. 21, 28). New York drafts 29th overall.

Let the fun begin...and not that I believe the Eagles will do this for reasons that we all know to be true...but I think Clayton is right up there as a viable source than Chris Mortenson

Just like last off season and all the Larry Fitz rumors.

Tune in next off season as the Breaston rumors heat up!

Well the Eagles are known for going after big name WRs. TO, Walker, Moss, Fitzgerald. They signed Curtis the best FA on the market.

The problem with them is dealing their draft picks. Now that they have two 1st rounders, maybe they actually will deal one for a change.

By the way, how is there a "frontrunner" when you can't even make trades yet?
Calling it right on the $ since day one.

The only big time WR the Eagles have ever landed is TO and he had to beg his way onto the team. All those other names are supposed attempts the Eagles made and we will never know if they really did offer what they claimed or really tried.

Go ahead and search youtube for Kevin Curtis videos. We'll have a contest to see who stabs their eardrums first.

Curtis isn't an all pro, but he was the biggest FA WR on the market when the Eagles got him at the time. Despite popular incorrect opinions, the Eagles do value the WR position. It is correct that they do not value LB that much, but WR they do.

I'm not saying the Eagles will get Boldin, but I'm pretty sure they'll go after him just like they go after a lot of the big name WRs. I do think they've gotten serious in the past, but talks usually break down once they get into 1st round pick territory. All I was saying was they have an extra one this time, so maybe that changes things.
