He will def be ready to play come Sept. I honestly think the Eagles should sign and Tra Thomas if they are serious about making a run in 09. Use the first round picks to either trade for some stars or draft skill position players (TE mostly). They can still use the other 8 picks they have to bolster up the OLINE.

I don't pretend to know what it would take, I assume a no. 1 to start with, but unless they are willing to part with some picks to trade for Boldin, I'll be dissapointed.

i love how its just a matter of fact that the cardinals are gonna trade boldin...they have never once given any indiciation that they want to or would deal him

Well, you're right, they haven't. Still, Bolding wants his contract redone, and if it isn't, he could end up being a major distraction. Arizona is something like 40 mil under the cap, they have plenty of cash to restructure his contract.  Boldin is due to make 2.75 this year. He has basically called Bidwill and the Cardinals front office liars.

I'm not saying it's right, he signed the deal, imo, he should live up to it. But it looks right now if he doesn't get traded we could see more incidences like the one in the Championship game with him on the sidelines bitching. The Cardinals gave Fitzgerald a 4 year 40 million dollar deal. They haven't said they would trade Boldin, but comments like  Mike Bidwill saying they've tried to work with him to restructure and extend his deal, and still haven't done it in two years, it makes you think he might get traded.

I want Runyan back too because I think he's the only lineman who's worth a damn but I was just pointing out to Cole that the surgery itself wasn't minor.

Add to the fact that Runyan's a giant and he's in his thirties and it's not a given he'll be back.

I know it isn't minor, but I'll give Runyan the benefit of the doubt. He's as tough as nails and has that starting streak going. I won't give him a 3 year deal and maybe not even a 2 year deal, but I'd be absolutely fine giving him another year assuming the surgery is a success.

Plus, I can't see the Eagles moving Andrews out to tackle. You can't count on him being there with his mental instability... especially at tackle and he's said he loves playing guard. If Runyan leaves then it probably comes down to them drafting a RT and starting them as a rookie. Not sure I see that happening.

Move Herremans to RT and let the fat boys fights for the LG spot.
Is rjs gonna have to choke a bitch?

Let them eat bootstraps.

that surgery only means more good things for his run blocking skills from last year.

If they move Herremans to RT then they'll draft a guard early. But I don't think they'll move Herremans at RT. Too much of a risk. He's only played there in limited roles. They won't go an entire season with him starting at tackle. The Eagles are obsessed with offensive line stability.

The offensive line is farging done. Tra and Runyan both played awful. Andrews might either kill himself or OD on Skittles. If there isn't some shaking up along the line next year, they might as well send Kolb out to get killed and trade McNabb for whatever they can get.

The man. The myth. The legend.

hes never played right tackle and moving him there would have no impact on whether they drafted a guard early
