What the bump tells me is that the majority of "undecided voters" are Obama supporters who haven't admitted it yet.

I dunno. To me, it says that there were a decent amount of people out there who had never really listened to Obama. They may have assumed his popularity was due to other reasons than him being smart, articulate, etc.

To jump back a couple pages, I am amazed at the bump for Obama after the debates as well.  I think McCain had the edge, or at worst (for the right) it was a tie between the two.

That's what CNN was speculating, but I honestly think that McCain's demeanor turned people off despite how well he did at actually answering questions. It was the biggest turn-off for me anyway.

Yeah, I think that McCain's demeanor in the debate hurt him more than it usually would.  I thought the debate itself was pretty much a wash - Obama winning on the economy, McCain on foreign policy.
