Bill was on last night, mouthing "I love you" and tearing up during the long ovation for Hillary. Guy knows how to act.
Zero hour, Michael. It's the end of the line. I'm the firstborn. I'm sick of playing second fiddle. I'm always third in line for everything. I'm tired of finishing fourth. Being the fifth wheel. There are six things I'm mad about, and I'm taking over.

If the principal Republican talking point tomorrow is: "the speech was too good! It just proves that she should have been the [Presidential/Vice Presidential] nominee!"

An ad hominem fallacy consists of asserting that someone's argument is wrong and/or he is wrong to argue at all purely because of something discreditable/not-authoritative about the person or those persons cited by him rather than addressing the soundness of the argument itself.

I didn't see it. I was busy nerding it up at a bar and winning money. Who wants to sit around and watch Hillary farging Clinton talk?
Is rjs gonna have to choke a bitch?

Let them eat bootstraps.

I just find it funny that the guy who has 75% of the posts in this thread is getting his info about how she nailed it off a transcript of her speech.

Looks like Hillary really nailed it last night...

so you didn't see it?

Nope.  With a 3 month old, I don't get much time to sit and watch TV.  I get caught up on the news while I'm supposed to be working :)

That's because I was stating my own opinion, pointing out what I thought were the strong points.  If you want links to 25 pundits who thought she did well, I can give you those as well.

I think he wants you to view the actual video of the speech before trotting out an opinion.

Partisan bias and pissing contests on MSNBC

For all the leftists that rail on FoxNews, MSNBC is crafting a niche on the other side of the aisle.

CNN manages to stay out of this shtein.  I've been watching them the most, and they're by far the most tolerable.

MDS

god even trying to compare the bias of fox to the bias of msnbc is laughable.

true MDS, but Fox has always been right, MSNBC has gone very far left very quickly.  Like FF, i cant tolerate Fox News and watch CNN

MDS

oh yes no doubt, but its still watchable and still kind of entertaining even if you are a right wing icehole like ff or my idiot father. fox is just an absolute disgrace to the world and cnn is more or less pretty good even though their founder is a lunatic.

Last night about a half hour after Clinton's speech I flipped over to Fixed News for the first time in months. I try to avoid it but I wanted to see how deep into shtein the facists would be willing to dive to achieve their ends. I caught the very end of Greet Van Sustern asking some supposed Hillary supporter whether she was really planning on voting for Obama. Anyhow, Sustern then went to a commercial break and plugged the next segment - "Startling new revelations about Obama's involvement with Bill Ayers of the radical Weatherman terrorist group". Typical.

Can you imagine if MSNBC or any other network did this shtein, while the RNC was going on no less? "Next on CNN we have another big news break on the allegation John McCain may have fathered an illegitimate child", or "Next on MSNBC we interview a former POW who claims John McCain collaborated with his NVA captors". LOL, right.

phillymic2000

Um, UIC just released boxes of information and paperwork of a program that Obama and Ayers were a part of back in the day. One of the local papers had been trying for a while to gain access to the information, but UIC was not budging. So it maybe news, who knows, God forbid that the chosen one may have had more involvement, or not have been as truthful as he should have been about his relationship with Ayers. I mean we can't have anyone reporting on that now can we.
