ive explained it everyway i know how...its not about the front office defending its players its about shteinting on the fans...and heckert wasnt shteinting on the fans by saying the wr's are superbowl worthy he was shteinting on them by telling them they are stupid and need to listen better

The difference between when they got TO (after saying the WRs were fine) and now is that since they had TO, they've let him go AND let Stallworth (the only other legit #1 this team has had since McNabb started here) go as well. Didn't want to pay them. Didnt' think THEY were WORTH THE MONEY. 

So bringing that shtein up is as pointless and nonsensical as Heckert bringing up Greg Lewis' farging TD in the Super Bowl.

And I don't buy that they ACTUALLY tried for Moss. I think it was a load of bullshtein. Or they just tried to "appease" the fans by making it seem like they tried to get him....all the while knowing they never had a shot in hell.

I don't think Stallworth was really a 1.  He was more of a 2a.
