I've never walked out of a movie, and I saw No Holds Barred in the theater.

Went to see Candyman II in seventh grade, and tehy wouldnt let us see it.  So we had to see Heavyweights, walked out on that one.

just read this in one of the reviews...not as long as the theater listed it as

At two hours and 32 minutes, this is almost too much movie, but it has a malicious, careening zest all its own. It's a ride for the gut and the brain.

You have to add in the half hour of trailers, ads, and movie trivia.

The man. The myth. The legend.

yeah thats what i was thinking...still retarded for the theater to count all that in the shows running time

SunMo

the commercials were the worst i've ever seen the last time i was there...a 5 minute commercial for verizon's new phone, no lie 5 minutes long

yet another reason why i hate movie theaters.  65" DLP, Denon Reciver and Mirage 5.1 surround FTW

i dont know what all that means and im sure its fantastic but theres nothing you can put in your house that can come close to a movie theater experience....

How about i let you come over and you can talk on the phone during the movie.  That will give me the real time experience of a Theater.

Honestly, i hate people, and never go because every time peoples manners get worse.

And i definitely get what your saying about the experience of laughing and enjoying something with a group, the problem is there are always people in that group who i wish would die

the closest ive ever experienced someone actually talking on a phone during a movie is on the little previews they show in the theater to turn off your cell phone

i swear thats something you only see on sit com episodes cause in 30 years of going to movies its never happened to me

as far as the people in general i really dont ever notice them...then again i dont go to summer popcorn movies hardly ever...the movies i go see rarely have raucous type crowds...but thats why im really excited for batman...havent been to the theater to see a movie like this in quite some time

mostly i like the movies for the sound and picture but also for the social aspect of it...i just love getting out of my house for anything...i REALLY hate sitting at home

I was at a theatre once with a girl I was seeing...there must have been 12 people watching the movie...3 people in front of us....my ex and I....and the 7 knucklefargs behind us. They were asian-wannabe-gangstas...they were loud and annoying, on the phone, making calls,  talking, laughing (and I know they weren't laughing about the movie because it was a 'romantic comedy')....and I could tell my chick was starting to boil until she turned around and told them 'if they could keep it down'. Of course, one of the little asian bitches told her to shut up...and being the 4'10 fiesty latina...I thought to myself, "Aw shtein".....she then gets up...and walks out.......she then comes back minutes later...with the security guard...and the guy kicks them out. Security wouldn't hear it...and they were like, "You don't know who we are"...the security man didn't give a shtein and kicked them the farg out. That made my day.
