I talked to a sports physician at my gym yesterday about sports hernia's and groin injuries. Apparently he agreed LJs injury was unrelated to the surgery. He said the surgery is done in the abdomen area and that if there was a set back it would have been in that area. Of course this means nothing but it made me a tad optimistic.

I don't know about going paintballin with Matt McCoy, he seems like he'd be that guy that would take it way too seriously and actually hurt somebody.

It's a shame he's too small to be a full time starter because the guy is pyscho. Keep him around as a situational/special teams guy though.

perhaps you could explain sd's reasons for "disliking" it as well since you seem to be so in tune with other peoples minds

they especially don't heal because they leave just enough room for movement that it becomes an issue of pain tolerance.  some dudes have really high tolerance, but the pain is still there and it's still limiting them.

they need to rest him until he's fully healed.

PE.com has an article up called "Is MJG The Second Coming Of Shawn Andrews?". That right there tells me that Andrews is out until at least November.

Wait a minute - is it an ankle sprain, or a high ankle sprain?  The first goes away in a couple of weeks.  The second drags on forever...
An ad hominem fallacy consists of asserting that someone's argument is wrong and/or he is wrong to argue at all purely because of something discreditable/not-authoritative about the person or those persons cited by him rather than addressing the soundness of the argument itself.

SD_Eagle5

Nothing to do with Training camp but this is a great article on Reid and his first year coaching the Eagles.

The report just said sprained ankle, and then WIP played a clip of Reid saying it was sprained.  It could be either.

I'm the Anti-Christ. You got me in a vendetta kind of mood.

They want to start him out on grass instead of FieldTurf.  No problems with that.
