I think its karma, the Eagles always seem to know when to dump players, and those who try and hold the Eagles for ransom always seems something bad happens to them at some point.

If anything, L.J. would be chomping at the bit to get out there.  He's the one who needs to play to get paid.

yeah because getting out there way to early and injuring yourself for the year is the perfect way to showcase yourself...i cant think of a better way to impress the rest of the league than to look good at lehigh

Don't know where else to put this and figured it hasn't been mentioned:

Perhaps the greatest announcing team ever has been assembled to cover 3 meaningless, generally boring eagles preseason games: Gus Johnson, Ike Reese and David S. Padaro will be the monumental tripod announcing the games. Seriously, Gus is the best announcer in the business. Ike is boss. And Spads is high comedy at all times for unquestioned and nonstop taintlicking of everything Eagles. Gooood times.
Zero hour, Michael. It's the end of the line. I'm the firstborn. I'm sick of playing second fiddle. I'm always third in line for everything. I'm tired of finishing fourth. Being the fifth wheel. There are six things I'm mad about, and I'm taking over.

Thoughts from camp today:

CJ Gaddis looked AWFUL. Gasperson was throwing him all over the place in the one on one drills

If Kolb is the future, it better be a hell of a long time from now

I agree with whoever's been mentioning that Bloom looks good in the receiver sets.

Met TKO today... He makes Gaither look like a high school kid.

Maybe this was mentioned already (didnt check), but false start Young left on a cart this morning

SD_Eagle5

I realize Kolb is a rookie who will most likely enter the season inactive but does he really look that bad? Every report I hear/read says he looks awful.

ThirdStreetMafia

Actually he throws a pretty good ball. It just seems like everytime he gets a rush in his face he starts dancing and looking for his checkdowns.

Its funny but i noticed today that a three backups throw a better ball than mcnabb. Also noticed that (atleast today) McNabb seems to be throwing entirely off his front foot not wanting to put much weight on his bad leg... IMO, we better not see 5 in live action for atleast two weeks.

MDS

He still wears that brace....so what do you expect?

Also like how when McNabb comes out he gets a nice cheer from the crowd. Bossman Garcia what.

QB Eagles

I wouldn't read anything into how Kolb is playing now. Some quarterbacks are starting for a few years in the NFL before they become decent players; expecting anything out of a rookie QB other than showing up and doing his work is a little silly, especially when there's no way in hell that QB will actually have to play his first season. Maybe he actually does suck balls and always will, but getting worried over how he's performing under his first NFL rush in his first NFL training camp seems way unjustified to me.

i agree that it means little at this point...but ill add that all three days i was there kolb looked hideous

Rome

Heckert didn't say that the Pro Bowl players were bad.  He said the teams were bad who had a few Pro Bowl players on them.
