Barry Nelson, an MGM contract player during the 1940s who later had a prolific theater career and was the first actor to play James Bond on screen, has died. He was 89.

Nelson died on April 7 while traveling in Bucks County, Pa., his wife, Nansi Nelson, said Friday. The cause of death was not immediately known, she said.

Ha!  He was probably in Bristol or Croydon... possibly Levittown or Bensalem.

That is the entire article.  No cause of death, no background info on his life or anything.  Just that.  It's like one of those KFFL blurbs that get posted about a player visiting a team or signing with a new deal.

I am alive and well and actually in Center City tonight.  Went to the Philles game tonight.  Awesome.  We had a blast.

I can remember my grandmother watching some of his specials in the late 1970s.  She used to sing Tiny Bubbles when giving me a bubble bath when I was but a wee bit of a lad.

They're singing up there together tonight.
