actually it isnt....banner is talking to the people in philly RIGHT NOW....thus hes not directly talking to those who arent there NOW and especially those who were never there...that doesnt mean you couldnt in hawaii right now and be offended...and theres people like you who are from philly but not currently in the area who dont give a crap

in general tho those that are not from or not there now are less likely to care...and i know theres a good amount of those kinds of people on this board...which is why i said this is probably not the best forum for this

for example if you listen to wip today or talk to people in philly today you will find a much larger care factor over this

off topic question.....if youre from philly why do you like the blues so much...not ripping you at all...you just seem like youre really into them...why the eagles still but not the flyers?

I think that regardless of where anyone lives, this obviously bothers you more than most people

not even close....the reaction of this board may make you think that...but ive talked to and emailed with numerous friends who are sickened by this...and theyve said the general feeling over this in the city is of outrage...and wip has spent the last seven hours on it 98% destroying banner

remember this was not some ap wire report....it wasnt even in the city sports sections.....it was on the front page of the inky...

I would have to believe that while your direct buddies and friends and the core WIP fanbase are similar in nature, you don't make up a majority of Eagles fans. That would be like saying that the dirty thirty and my buddy Shoulderpad Shawn were acting as elected representatives at the 1999 draft.

blame the fans for their reaction to something that banner knew would piss them off and yet still did it 48 hrs before a playoff game.....then again we as fans should be lucky to even have a team to be talking about right now
