Then you'd earn yourself a crisp $20 bill, sir.

What about if Michigan wins and PSU loses?

Like IGY, I rarely/never bet on my team.  I'd consider betting against my team to cut my losses.

If Michigan wins and PSU loses, Michigan has a ton of shoulda-coulda-woulda's, and PSU proves how mediocre a team they had this year.  What's your point?

Saw Davinchi code last night. It wasn't great but it wasn't bad. Either that or I'm just desperate for a good movie. Sophie's charecter in the movie really didn't seem to have much depth. Still...

My point is that I would whoop Die-Hard's ass and I want you to acknowledge it!

We are shteinting all over this thread.

I am going to pose a question in the college football thread.

Rome

Saw "Rocky Balboa" today with my little girl.

I was shocked at how good the movie was.  Definitely the best one since the first movie.  Loved the writing, the direction wasn't heavy-handed, the city looked amazing throughout much of the film, and best of all, the acting was surprisingly good, especially Burt Young's peformance as Pauly.

:cfhead :cfhead :cfhead :cfhead out of five.

watched Cookies Fortune today.  meh.  heard good things about it but i didn't think it was very good.  good cast but it was just really really slow.

Watched that this week too.  Not as good as the book but movies rarely are.  They did keep in line with the book but they left out some parts that I wish they didn't.  The ending was a little weak too.  Not bad though.  3.5 outta 5.

Little Miss Sunshine.

Really funny and morbid at times. Good acting. Gets a 4/5 in my book.  :yay

I saw it last night.  Good movie.  I think I might find some more things about it that I liked if I watched it again.  My only beef is that the pageant scene is probably more than half the reason to watch the whole movie.

I'll give it a 4/5 also.

watxched Mini's First Time last night.  unfortunately it is not a porno.  i had never heard of it before but it had alec baldwin, luke wilson, jeff goldblum, carrie-anne moss, so i figured it must be fairly good.  anyway it's about some 18-year old slutty chick who starts banging her stepdad to make her mom nuts, and it's a pretty awful movie.  how it got such big name actors i don't know.  also, no boob action.

MDS

Rocky Baloboa- Pretty good, decent way to rap things up. Should have used a corny 80's song over the training montage, but whatever. Good shots of the city, typical Stallone unitentional comedy. Enjoyable.
Zero hour, Michael. It's the end of the line. I'm the firstborn. I'm sick of playing second fiddle. I'm always third in line for everything. I'm tired of finishing fourth. Being the fifth wheel. There are six things I'm mad about, and I'm taking over.

Yea the pageant I think was the funniest part hands down.

A Scanner Darkly - a sci-fi drug movie. hilarious moments. i started reading the book before the movie and just couldn't get into the book that much. movie was alittle easier to follow but still somewhat confusing. a movie that could take a few watches. i enjoyed it and appreciated the illustrative format. 3.5/5
