Father Demon

Dogma is playing on Comedy Central.  One of my all-time favorite movies. Still cracks me up after years of watching it.

Of course, CC butchered the hell out of it.

Saw the new Rocky movie tonight and thought it was an OK way to wrap up the series, but this should have been what V was instead of the stupid street fighting with Mr. HIV...

Butchers Bill

Saw The Pursuit of HappYness with Will Smith last night.  I was a bit disappointed given all the hype around this movie...it was OK.

I believe I've passed the age of consciousness and righteous rage
I found that just surviving was a noble fight.
I once believed in causes too,
I had my pointless point of view,
And life went on no matter who was wrong or right.

all the kings men - what a waste...one of most mumbled plots ever...it was supposed to be about a corrupt politician but they never clearly showed him being corrupt...has to be one of the worst movies ive ever seen interms of the quality of the cast vs the end result of the movie.... 3/10

has anyone ever seen the OG...ive heard great things about it

miami vice - non descript action movie made much worse by one of the great hacks in the biz right now colin farrel...he is painful to watch... 4/10

Rome

Jamie Foxx as Ricardo Tubbs is one of the worst casting choices in the history of the cinema.  Amazingly, one of the few casting decisions worse than that one was Farrell as Sonny Crockett.  WTF was Michael Mann thinking?

Irreversable - sick. just sick. don't watch it with your significant other. i had to turn it off it was that farged up.

Invincible - i thought it was great. kinda left you hangin at the end, but not like the guy was a great player and they could elaborate on his great career. it was more about his character. def worth the rent. 3.5/5

My super ex girlfriend - don't watch unless you are forced to 1/5

Jackass 2 - At first it was really cheesy and it felt fake at times. As the stunts went by it got better and better. Same old shtein, but taken to the next level.  The guy dressed up as the grandma with saggin tits was classic   :-D

Haven -  Didn't really spark any emotions. 1.5/5

That teenagers have never seen the TV show so they won't know the difference.

I've seen it. It was very good, but it's a 'political thriller'... which in my book is a non-sequitor.

Invincible
3/5  :cfhead's.

It was an interesting movie and I enjoyed it. I didn't like how they didn't remove the track from around "the Vet" in the movie. They built the Vet with CGI graphics and left the track in there. The rendition of the fight song was poorly done too. I don't even think the fight song had been brought back yet then. I think it didn't reemerge until Lurie took over. But they sang it 'Fight Eagles Fight". And what is worse is the dude who started the song, the fat dude in the green cape, is Tony Luke Jr.; an Eagles fan.
