yes, supposedly they(360's) are still over heating, so people send them back and they send you a new one. have not heard any problems with Nintendo Wii

The Wii is supposed to be more on par with the original x-box than either of the other two next generation consoles, so heat really shouldn't be a problem there.

EB and Gamestop took pre-orders this morning for PS3's. People waited outside for hours just to pre-order a system that they both said in their notice that you may not even be guaranteed one on launch because of possible cut backs in shipments.

EB won't have any. The employees are buying up the few they're getting and putting them on eBay.

Another thing I read is that you don't pre-order which version you want. It is randomized which you will get at launch.

I think paying $500 to $600 bones for a console is pretty wetodd did. That's why I have an 8-bit Nintendo next to my PS2. It's pretty fun beating Contra over and over and over again.  Anyone have an extra $500-$600 laying around?

Normal people don't have that kind of cash laying around. I love how you see this 20 year olds waiting outside at midnight to pre-order a system the next day. It's obvious they don't work if they can wait in line all hours of the night and throuhg the morning, so where do they get this cash to pay for this stuff?
